Stefanie Glick, MA, CPS

Executive Director & Creator, LiveWell Program©

Social entrepreneur. Educator. Writer. Certified Peer Specialist. Drawing on a diverse professional career that spans over 25 years, as well as her personal experience of living well with depression, Stefanie co-founded and currently leads the LiveWell Foundation.

In addition to serving in leadership roles in various nonprofit organizations, Stefanie is an educator who has established a reputation for designing innovative experiential-learning programs that promote healthy development throughout the lifespan; and her original curricula have been offered to over a million youth and adults nationwide. In 2015 -- after identifying a surprising (and alarming!) paucity of accessible and effective community support options for people living with depression -- Stefanie turned her attention to psychosocial education and created the LiveWell Program©.  With the (ongoing) mentorship of Dr. Aaron T. Beck, Stefanie launched her first LiveWell depression support group in Philadelphia in 2016.

Stefanie holds a B.A. in English Literature and an M.A. from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.  A Certified Peer Specialist, Stefanie is also currently enrolled in Bryn Mawr's Masters of Clinical Social Work program, with year-long externships at the adult dual-diagnosis unit at Friends Psychiatric Hospital and at University of Pennsylvania's Behavioral Health Outpatient Center, where she currenlty works as a psychotherapist (under supervision from a diverse team of professionals). Stefanie is also a member (playwright) of the Dramatists Guild of America.

Michael S. Weinstein, MD, MBE, MPH

Co-creator & Peer Coach, LiveWell Physicians©

Michael is a physician at Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University.

In order to help alleviate stigma and support a nationwide discussion regarding physician well-being, Michael decided to publicly share his own story of depression and suicidal ideation in the New England Journal of Medicine. In addition to speaking nationally about the issues of provider burnout and depression, he also teaches mindfulness strategies for promoting depression recovery and mental well-being.

In 2018, Michael met the creator of the LiveWell Program Stefanie Glick; and the peers have thus collaborated to create the one-of-a-kind LiveWell Physicians program.
