We offer on-site trainings for your certified peers, staff, and/or mental health care professionals

 

Our Facilitator Training, Support & Evaluation Package includes:​

​

  • On-site LiveWell Facilitator training 

  • A series of follow-up site visits, providing direct supervision to LiveWell support group facilitators

  • Unlimited online access to the LiveWell Program© curriculum 

  • An easy-to-use Program Evaluation tool (an anonymous online participant survey) designed in association with Aaron T. Beck, MD. 

  • Technical assistance for administering LiveWell evaluation tool; and review of results.

  • Post-delivery meeting with Director of LiveWell Program to discuss lessons learned, and identify possible revisions to curriculum to meet the specific needs of your client population.

Become A Volunteer LiveWell Support Group Peer Facilitator

Qualifications

All peer candidates must have:

​

  • Lived experience with depression and resilience

  • A desire to support, empower, and inspire others to live well with depression

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • The ability to work as part of a team 

  • A willingness to attend at least four LiveWell support groups prior to the training process 

  • A willingness to participate in an all-day (6 hour) online training

  • A willingness to commit to facilitate a LW support group twice a month (or every other week)

About the (Online) Training

Program participants will be trained in and be able to demonstrate knowledge of:

​

  • The peer recovery movement in historical context

  • The values, underlying principles, and mechanisms that inform both the LiveWell Program and experiential learning

  • Active-listening skills

  • Group facilitation skills, including integrating principles of trauma-informed peer support and creating inclusive discussions​

  • Suicide prevention​​
